Birthday Season!

Well its that time of year again. Time for all of the birthday's! As you seen baby C had his birthday in Sept and turned one! Yeah. That birthday party went off without a hitch....if you consider it not going off at all not to much of a hitch. LOL. Yes I am behind in my celebrations but 2008 has been the year for quiet home birthday parties. For those of you that don't know me I am the type that usually loves to throw some big party for my little ones, but this year I haven't been able to get in my usual grove LOL. Both big sis M and I had our b-days this past week and lets just say if the birthday cake wasn't on the counter you wouldn't have known it was anyones birthday around here. With hubby being gone seems if my birthday spirit has gone with him. So what does that mean....I guess when he gets home we will be having more than one celebration!

On with the kiddie news flyby of the week. Baby C has finally started walking! Its only a few steps here and there...unless he is chasing after our neighbor for some boy time. LoL poor kid is surounded by girls 24/7 since daddy left. But he is sooooo cute toddling around.

Lil sis L is getting cutier by the day. She now has figured out the art of deceiving...well kind of. The other day she accidently hit Enana with her play pirate sword. Then turned around and said "sorry" (brief pause) "it not me". So my little girl has learned how to pass the blame on to someone else. The only problem.....yes she apoligizes first and then delcares it wasn't her that did whatever she is saying sorry for.

Big sis M got a guitar for her birthday and is loving it. She walks around strumming the guitar and singing. What was I thinking when I got her a guitar for her birthday LOL. But atleast she is using it and seems pretty good at it. Guess its time to look into lessons!

Well that is it from the home front. Everyone is doing good here except for the missing daddy. But he calls often and that helps. But home won't be the same until he is back in it with us all together.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

And the craziness continue's

Well here's my weekly fly-by of what's up at our small and crazy household.....

As you've seen I finally got baby C in for his first birthday pics! They turned out so cute....or so the proud mama says :o) Hubby did get a chance to see them so yay, yay, yay. All the chasing and funny faces and tackling the crawling baby at the picture studio was all worth it! Baby C took his first step yesterday!! Well actually he was standing up on his own then one foot moved forward then it moved backward then he landed on his bum. So I guess you could say he took his first half step. He is standing on his own and is crawling like a camp. We took the kids to the beach and he crawled right for the water. Of course when the wave rolled up and got him a little wet he started crying and wanted to be picked up. But that didn't stop him from crawling back to the water every chance he got...no matter how many times he started crying when he got wet LOL.

Lil sis L is talking more and more everyday. Her new thing is "I bissie" (I'm busy) when you ask her to do something. She loves playing with my cell phone, putting it on video so she can make funny faces at herself. She is always asking for "my weewin" as she calls it. She told me to "no talk mouf" (stop talking...or literal translation: no talk mouth) so I would say we are offically in the terrible two's.

Big sister M has been a handful and if I could find a box big enough I might be tempted to send her to daddy overseas LOL. She is growing up to fast for my likes and has been dancing around like the girls on tv (Hannah Montanna etc) She asked for a guitar for her 6th birthday coming up and a horse LOL. Not sure which I will get her this year....just kidding like I could fit a horse in the 1000 sq foot house the six of us live in LOL. So maybe we will just give her horse back riding lessons instead!

Me....I'm just living day by day waiting for hubbies phone calls and emails. Working at the hosptial and trying to keep up with all the up coming hollidays. So keep a look out for the up coming Halloween pics that will be posted. So far I have one pirate, one GI Joe and Padme from star wars. It should be a fun year as I already am signed up for three halloween events for the kids.....so yes you guessed it right there will be lots of candy, sugar highs and the fun wacky stories that go with them. I will keep everyone posted and hope you all have a wonderful day!
